Overview
Nothing defines Dubai more than the iconic Burj Khalifa, which towers over 828 meters. Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest structure, has over 160 stories and provides tourists with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Persian Gulf from the highest outdoor observation deck.
There are several ways to experience the splendor of Burj Khalifa. Experience the Dubai skyline from the world’s tallest observation deck and dine among the clouds at the tower’s fine dining restaurants.
The Burj Khalifa has two observation decks, one on the 124th – 125th floors and one on the 148th. You will have access to the 124th and 125th floors, or the 148th floor, depending on your Burj Khalifa ticket.
The construction of Burj Khalifa began in 2004 and took six years to complete. It is made up of 163 floors, with 57 elevators and 8 escalators. The building is a mixed-use development, featuring office space, residential units, restaurants, and an observation deck. The observation deck, known as “At The Top,” is located on the 124th floor and offers stunning views of the city of Dubai.
In addition to being the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa also holds several other records, including the highest number of stories in a building, the highest occupied floor in a building, and the highest outdoor observation deck in the world.
The construction of Burj Khalifa was part of a larger development project known as Downtown Dubai. This development includes the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the world, and the Dubai Fountain, which is the world’s largest choreographed fountain system.
